Welcome

Dear Visitor,

Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, we have just been advised that we must introduce additional restrictions and preparations for your stay at Le Mas this summer.

We appreciate that this information is coming to you rather late, but we hope you will understand that circumstances and requirements are changing day-by-day and that these restrictions are required so that we can comply with the latest French legislation and guidelines; and help provide you with a safer environment in which to enjoy your holiday.

Arrivals and Departures

In order that our cleaners can complete the extensive additional sanitising required before you arrive at Le Mas, we need to allow them extra time. As a result, we kindly ask that you aim to arrive at the house at 19:00 or later.

Our departure time remains unchanged at 10:00.

Rubbish and Recycling

There are special plastic rubbish and recycling bags under the kitchen sink in both houses and we ask you to ensure that you take all of your rubbish and recycling with you before you leave.  There are community bins at the bottom and top of the lane and a glass recycling bin at the bottom by the town hall. You will need to take the special card that is attached to the house keys in order to open the bins… Please ensure you then return the keys and card to the house.

Unused Food and Drinks

Please take any food or drink that you are brought with you and that the cupboards and refrigerators are left empty of all such items.

Linen and Towels

In order to reduce the contact that our cleaners have, it would be most helpful if you would kindly strip the linen from your beds before you depart and leave it with your towels in the bathtubs in each house

Our Furnishings and Belongings

Normally, we like to leave both houses with our own personal memorabilia and the other elements that make Le Mas feel like our home. Due to Covid-19 and the need to clean all items and surfaces thoroughly, we have had to remove a large number of decorative pieces, including cushions and throws. The result is that the house will be looking a little more bereft and empty of its usual eclectic personality than we would like… but we hope that you will understand that this has been necessary in order to help safeguard your health and well-being.

Our thanks for your kind understanding and compliance with new measures.

We hope that you have a wonderful time staying at our much-loved Le Mas.

Warm regards

Roger & Jeff

Welcome to Le Mas: The perfect vacation rental in the Dordogne South West France.

Le Mas is a renovated Perigordine farmhouse in the quiet hamlet of St Marcory near Monpazier. The farmhouse and the old stables have been converted to provide comfortable accommodation for at least twelve people in two independent houses.

Both houses open onto the shared swimming pool and together they make the ideal holiday base for a large group of family and or friends.

There are numerous terraces and outside tables and lots of places to enjoy a few quiet moments away from your fellow visitors… and lots of potential for younger ones to play safely and imaginatively.

Set in 5 hectares overlooking the hamlet and its 13th century church, Le Mas is surrounded by rolling fields and enjoys wonderful views of the unspoilt countryside.

Nearby Monpazier is one of the most beautiful bastide towns in France.

We hope you enjoy our website and that you choose to come and stay!
